Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Igbo-Eze-South, Enugu State. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
