Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Miami County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces You will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
