Lift installation engineer • Torfaen County Borough, Wales

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
