Site safety steward • Jackson County, Alabama

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Jackson County, Alabama. You will work at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Part-time with flexible hours.
