Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Madison County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Full-time, day shift.
