Laundry presser • Buckinghamshire, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Buckinghamshire, England. You will work in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around £80 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
