Now hiring: tube and fitting scaffolder (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Shetland Islands, Scotland. The job is on a residential housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
