Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Koochiching County, Minnesota. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance We offer $32 per hour plus benefits.
