We are recruiting: scaffold fitter (Akwa Ibom State)

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. On a typical shift you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Ideal candidate: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
