Restoration bricklayer wanted in Anderson County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Anderson County, South Carolina. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Six days a week, one day off.
