Immediate opening: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Emmet County, Iowa. Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Day to day you will tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground.
