Now hiring: scaffolding charge hand (Katsina State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Kusada, Katsina State. The job is at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Requirements: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
