Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in North Somerset, England. You will work on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
