Lift erector — Urue Offong/Oruko

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Urue Offong/Oruko, Akwa Ibom State. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
