Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (Katsina State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Kaita, Katsina State. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
