On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Rotating shifts.
