Argon welder — Nacogdoches County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
