Urgent requirement: collision repair technician (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Hamilton County, New York. The job is at a busy body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
