Immediate opening: we are hiring a stores assistant in Calvert County, Maryland. You will work in an e-commerce fulfilment centre. You should have: • Able to stand and walk for long shifts on your feet • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift Day to day you will assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor; operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets; load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS.
