Join our team: gas commissioning technician (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Keokuk County, Iowa. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing You will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
