Cnc turning machinist • Hancock County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Hancock County, Georgia. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Your main tasks: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
