Foundry labourer wanted in Tripp County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Tripp County, South Dakota. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
