Argon welder wanted in Vinton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Vinton County, Ohio. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
