Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Jefferson County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift.
