Marble fitter — Washtenaw County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble fitter in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The job is on a hotel and villa renovation project. You will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Own hand tools an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
