Production welder wanted in Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Franklin County, Washington. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings We offer $2,750 per project plus benefits.
