Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Montgomery County, New York. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
