Elevator service technician wanted in Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Howard County, Maryland. You will work at a busy lift company. Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Six days a week, one day off.
