Stainless steel welder • Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
