Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in City of Manassas Park, Virginia. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. You should have: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Punctual, reliable and hard-working On the job you will handle: • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
