What we are looking for: • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and correct dilution ratios The role involves: • Restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals • Dust and polish furniture, mirrors and glass with the right chemicals • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room • Service 14-16 rooms per shift to the floor checklist • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Follow the colour-coded cloth system to avoid cross-contamination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
