Immediate opening: vehicle electrician (Alaska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle electrician in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will work at a roadside auto repair shop. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence preferred • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours Day to day you will diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; read and clear ECU fault codes; service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors; solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; read wiring diagrams and trace circuits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
