Metal caster wanted in Hempstead County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Hempstead County, Arkansas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
