Groundskeeper wanted in Berkshire County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The job is on a golf course. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
