Join our team: abattoir worker (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
