We are recruiting: tile mason (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile mason in Clayton County, Iowa. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Day to day you will mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
