Urgent requirement: GTAW welder (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Greene County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 3+ years on the tools preferred.
