Plant operator — Kenai Peninsula Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The role involves excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 6+ years on the tools preferred.
