Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Waseca County, Minnesota. You will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. Ideal candidate: • Willing to travel between sites • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
