Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
