Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Full-time, day shift.
