You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Your main tasks: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
