Sand plant operator • Lake County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Lake County, Tennessee. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
