Gas meter installer wanted in Crockett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Crockett County, Texas. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
