Great opportunity: roofer (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofer in Jefferson County, Illinois. The job is on commercial flat-roof projects. Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel Meals and transport allowance provided.
