Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Stockton-on-Tees, England. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
