Immediate opening: site safety steward (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Harlan County, Nebraska. Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
