Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Cheyenne County, Kansas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run.
