Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Mason County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
