We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Rock Island County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage On a typical shift you will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
